Fool-Proof Mango Kulfi (Ice Cream)
I was planning to make this recipe a year ago, but didn't have the time, and I was also sensitive toodours then, as well as less brave to try new tastes, so I just gave up and saved it for later.
Well, this time has come this summer, with the temperatures hitting the 30 degrees celsius, something very unfamiliar for the UK.
The recipe is pretty easy, it's made very fast and taste divine!
The basic recipe for this Indian ice cream (Thanks to Aapplemint for the recipe) uses
1 can condensed milk
1 around 300 ml pot double cream
1 aruond 800 ml can sweetened mango puree which can be found in the Asian grocery stores
1 tbsp cardamon powder
Beat the double cream with a mixer until firm. Combine gently the mango puree with the condensed milk and the firmed double cream. Sprinkle the cardamon powder evenly. Mix gently and freeze.
Enjoy in a couple of hours!
