Zucchini Balls with Yougurt Sauce

As summer is already here, enjoy this light and fresh vegetarian recipe



You need (for the balls):
3 medium-sized zucchini (courgettes)
250 gr Bulgarian cow cheese (feta-like)
2 eggs
100 gr flour
cumin, white pepper
oil for frying,
lemon, green olive tapenade for decoration

(for yogurt sauce)
400 ml yogurt
2-3 fresh garlic heads
fresh dill


What to do:
Grate the three zucchini, place them in a bowl and sprinkle with salt. Leave for 5-8 minutes and then drain. Place them in a dry bowl, add the eggs and cheese.
In a dry pan place the flour on high heat and stir until gold-brown. Then add the gold-brown flour to the zucchini mixture. Add white pepper and cumin.
With a tablespoon take from the zucchini mixture and pour in hot oil.

for yogurt sauce
Mix the fresh garlic and dill in a blender. Add them to the yogurt. Add salt if needed.

Serve immediately.
